To provide high quality radiographs at a technical level so as not to require constant supervision. To assist the Radiologist in the performance of advanced procedures. Clinical Excellence/Patient Care
Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department students hospital staff and physicians.
Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
Assists with quality assurance processes.

This position may be assigned a specific mission to address in an emergency situation to assist in disaster response and recovery as part of the UnityPoint Health Des Moines Hospital Emergency Incident Command System. Situations of a critical nature may require an individual to perform multiple tasks until additional support can be obtained.

Practice reflects knowledge of HIPAA HFAP DIA OSHA and other federal/state regulatory agencies guiding healthcare.

Education:
Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
Experience:
None
License(s)/Certification(s):
Maintain ARRT CEU requirements
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three months from date of hire.
Current Valid Drivers License and car insurance may be required when driving any vehicle for workrelated reasons.
