Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Supply Chain Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily distribution and inventory operations at the Medical Center Campus and the Fanny Allen Outpatient Center focusing on Perioperative spaces including OR Cardiology and Interventional Radiology. Oversees the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with supply chain services customer service standards. Develops tracks and enforces productivity standards. Ensures adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost. Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Position involves the supervision continuous development and training of Supply Chain personnel. Prepares annual budgets and ensures that all financial objectives are met. Responsible for facility security and sees that work areas are maintained in a clean and organized manner.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. A valid drivers license and clean driving record is required
EXPERIENCE:
Five years of demonstrated supervisory experience preferably in a health care related field. Two years work experience in distribution and inventory control preferred.
