Job Description
Overview
Our company is looking for a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team in Charlotte NC.
We are looking for someone who enjoys diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing mechanical electrical and hydraulic systems.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and diagnose diesel engines to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Repair or replace damaged or wornout parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines.
- Test and tune diesel engines to ensure they are running at optimal levels.
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance work performed.
- Communicate with customers to explain repair procedures
Ideal Qualifications
- Completion of a vocational or technical school program in diesel engine repair or military service
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
Shifts
- 8:00 AM5:00 PM
- 1:00 PM10:00 PM $1/hour shift differential)
- Work is done in shop with minimal travel (less than 10 no overnights)
Pay
- Up to $30/hr
