Job Description
EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Machinist to join a precision engineering company located in Northampton working on a permanent basis.
Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into all candidates must be UK residents and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

The business is a leading specialist in manufacturing complex safetycritical components for a number of high profile markets.
Due to continued success and further growth our client requires additional support within their machining department.
Responsibilities include:
- Run proven programs adjust work and/or tool coordinates and correct any errors
- Set tools and produce a First Off part to correct quality standard
- Carry out 1st off inspection from engineering drawings and update paperwork
What experience do you need
- Proven CNC Milling or CNC Turning experience
- Strong capabilities in setting and operatingCNC Milling and/or CNC Turning using Fanuc and/or Heidenhaincontrols
- Previous background of machining small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries
- Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
- Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Worked with small to medium batch sizes
