About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled ElectroMechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling both mechanical and electrical components and systems with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. This role involves working with various tools and machinery to build and inspect electromechanical assemblies according to specifications and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly of ElectroMechanical Components: Assemble mechanical and electrical parts and components according to engineering drawings schematics and work instructions.
Quality Inspection: Perform visual and dimensional inspections of assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize hand tools power tools soldering irons and testing equipment to assemble and test products. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
Read and Interpret Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints and electrical schematics to understand assembly requirements and procedures.
Troubleshooting and ProblemSolving: Identify and resolve assembly issues working closely with the engineering and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes inspection results and any modifications or adjustments made during assembly.
Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes reduce waste and improve product quality.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members engineers and supervisors to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on assembly tools and equipment ensuring they are in good working condition.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Electrical/Electronics Assembly: Demonstrated experience in assembling electrical and electronic components is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers micrometers and gauges.
Certifications: Certification in electromechanical assembly or related fields is a plus.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.
Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electromechanical assembly is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in electromechanical assembly or a related field.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
