Job Description
A company is seeking aProperty and Casualty (P&C) Insurance Underwriterto evaluate commercial lines insurance applications and make informed decisions on approvals. This role is vital to ensuring risk is appropriately assessed while maintaining compliance with underwriting guidelines.
Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing and evaluating insurance applications for commercial property and casualty lines.
- Assessing risk factors and determining whether to approve or decline applications.
- Ensuring compliance with underwriting policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with brokers agents and other stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of underwriting decisions.
