We are representing an independent O&G operator that is looking for an experienced Controller to join its successful Dallas TX team. This position will coordinate all financial tax managerial accounting and financial reporting functions. Will also lead a team of staff accountants.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters in Accounting preferred)
- CPA license strongly preferred
- 10 years of experience including upstream financial and operational accounting
- Experience with OGSys and Bolo programs
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP particularly in the areas of oil and gas accounting investment company accounting and fair value estimates
- Strong leadership verbal and written communication skills
