CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Derby
Permanent
Circa 16.50 17 per hour

As part of their ongoing growth they are seeking a talentedCNC Millerto join their dynamic and fastpaced team.

- Days: 6am6pm Monday to Thursday
- Nights: 6pm6am Monday to Thursday
- Weekend Days: 6am6pm Friday to Sunday

Your responsibilities include:
- Setting operating and editing 4 and 5 axis Milling machines using Fanuc controls
- Machining small to large sized complex parts in low batch sizesusing various materials such as Aluminium Stainless Steel and Titanium for precision industries such as Aerospace
- Machining to tight tolerances
- Working from engineering drawings
- Working on multiple setups 23 per day)
Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:
- Must be able to set operate and edit 4 and 5axis CNC Milling machines
- Experience working with Fanuc controls
- Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace Motorsport Nuclear MOD Oil and gas etc
- Previously worked with Aluminium Stainless Steel and Titanium
- Experience with machining to tight tolerances
- Confident working with small to largesized components in low batches
- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
Desirable:
- Long Bed experience would be a desirable
- Previous experience using a Fanuc Automation Robot
- Confident with TPMS
- Previous experience working on Extrusions
