Title: Software Implementation Project ManagerLocation: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S preference for PST and local Phoenix candidates)
Type: FullTime Permanent
Our rapidlygrowing SaaS data management client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Implementation Project manager to oversee and manage multiple software implementation projects with custom software requirements. This role will be instrumental in project delivery building project plans allocating resources mentoring team members and driving improvements in how the company approaches projects. Your role:
- Client Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients ensuring clear and professional communication throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Project Planning & : Create comprehensive project plans review Statements of Work (SOW) and allocate resources to ensure successful delivery. Continuously monitor progress to meet deadlines and achieve client satisfaction. Identify when timelines need to be adjusted and make required changes.
- Resource Management: Assign tasks optimize resource allocation and ensure that team members have the necessary tools and support to succeed. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and senior project managers on the team.
- Documentation & Process Improvement: Develop and implement standardized documentation practices for project tracking reporting and knowledge sharing. Continuously seek opportunities to improve internal processes and project methodologies. Mentor teammates and internal teams on methods and best practices.
- Proactive ProblemSolving: Identify potential risks and issues before they escalate and take corrective actions to keep projects on track. Act as a problem solver for complex challenges.
- Software Implementation: Oversee the successful implementation of SaaS software projects ensuring seamless integration and alignment with client requirements while managing timelines resources and stakeholder communication.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a diverse team of project managers fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration. Lead by example and contribute to the professional growth of your team.
- Strategic Impact: Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the companys project management approach influencing how projects are executed and delivering measurable improvements in efficiency and client outcomes.
What youve got:
- 7 years of proven experience in project/program management particularly in handling client interactions resource allocation and mentoring teams within the SaaS space.
- 5 years creating project plans and setting timelines for SaaS implementation projects with custom client requirements
- Proven ability to make necessary changes to project requirements and timelines.
- Proven ability to set expectations with clients and track deliverables.
- Demonstrated success in creating project documentation and directly impacting project processes.
- Experience in the public sector especially in Water Utilities or related industries is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of highlevel tasks and the ability to ensure their successful .
- Exceptional organizational leadership and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in overseeing software implementation projects and managing project lifecycles from start to finish.
- Ability to work independently selfmotivate and thrive in a remote work environment.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile Scrum Jira Asana).
- Proven experience in managing software development projects in a highintensity clientdriven environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and manage diverse client demands simultaneously.
- Handson project management approach with readiness to take client calls at any time to ensure project success.
- Demonstrated success in environments where project timelines are tight and accountability is high with an ability to deliver under pressure.
- Background in software builds with additional experience in nonsoftware projects like integrations a plus.
- Strong adaptability to fastpaced work environments where client needs are urgent and require immediate action.
