WHAT YOULL DO
As a Technical Lead in Macro Front Office Technology at Point72 you will be responsible for overseeing the buildout of services applications and workflows required to develop bestinclass analytics for the teams stakeholders. The focus will be primarily on but not limited to analytics for P&L and risk. Specifically you will:
Design and oversee the technical implementation of critical data and computational platform components needed for the scalable production of P&L and risk analytics for new and existing financial products and integrate these into a range of downstream systems
Design and oversee the technical implementation of architectures that will scale to support large numbers of workflows and as required integrate thirdparty components spanning vendor systems cloud technology and data engineering platforms
Provide prompt support and a high level of service to all downstream consumers
Proactively drive efficiency across Macro BAU processes to improve the overall quality and efficiency of daily technology operations
WHATS REQUIRED
We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer with strong coding abilities rigorous mathematical problemsolving skills and experience in P&L and risk systems or in another Front Office development capacity.
Bachelors degree in mathematics physics computer science engineering finance or a related field
Proficiency in C# SQL and Python
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance specifically in a P&L and risk systems or another Front Office development capacity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
