Job Description

Anchor Academy Berkley Campus is a special education therapeutic day school that specializes in traumainformed services for students ages 1022 with complex trauma histories mental health issues educational challenges and/or behavioral difficulties. Anchor Academy offers students a supportive environment that addresses their education clinical prevocational recreational and behavioral needs. Individual group nursing and milieu counseling are provided.

During Your Internship You Will:

  • Carry a caseload of 34 students and provide individual counseling through the ARC model and traumainformed lens
  • Work with students toward their individualized IEP/treatment goals and track progress
  • Colead psychoeducational clinical groups
  • Collaborate with students school districts caregivers and community providers
  • Provide inthemoment crisis management when needed
  • Complete all documentation related to case management IEP development and data tracking

    Requirements:

    • Minimum working towards a Masters degree in the social work or psychology field(LCSW LICSW LMHC or LMFT). We will accept 1st or 2nd year students.
    • Both LICSW and LMHC supervision available/supervision by an LICSW/LMHC.
    • Our program has availability for the full academic school year of August/September through May 2025 and 2026.
    • Clinical interest in working with children/adolescents isrequired and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
    • Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
    • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
