You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking qualified medical educators to join our team of Microbiology/Immunology faculty. We are looking for dedicated innovative individuals who aspire to work collaboratively with our faculty to produce the next generation of osteopathic physicians. Our mission is focused on excellence in education research clinical care and service. Minimum requirements include a terminal degree (Ph.D. D.O. M.D. and demonstrated interest in teaching medical students. Preference will be given to candidates with at least three years teaching experience in medicallyoriented microbiology. Faculty rank and salary are dependent upon qualifications and experience.
JOB SUMMARY: Microbiology Faculty members are required to serve as educators in Microbiology and Immunology facilitate Problem Based Learning (PBL) advise Osteopathic medical students interview medical school applicants and contribute to the mission of the college through research and service. The successful candidate is knowledgeable and qualified to teach Microbiology and Immunology at a medical college level.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience equivalent to: Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology with previous teaching experience required preferably in Microbiology and Immunology at the medical college level. Required evidence of research productivity and potential for success in obtaining extramural research funding. Must have a strong desire to teach in a studentcentered environment using innovative methods. Requires excellent organizational communication teaching and decisionmaking skills along with an ability to work with faculty from other disciplines.
