About the Role:
Recurly is seeking a Director of Events and Marketing Operations with 10 years of experience in strategic event planning marketing operations and program management to drive pipeline revenue growth and brand impact. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who understands how to leverage events and marketing operations as highimpact channels. The Director will oversee global event strategy marketing operations budget management and program ensuring that initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes and elevate Recurlys market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Event Strategy & Develop and lead a comprehensive global event strategy spanning inperson conferences trade shows field marketing events customer experiences partner events and virtual engagements. Align all event initiatives with demand generation and revenue growth goals.
Partner Event Strategy Define and execute a partner event strategy that strengthens Recurlys ecosystem enhances partner collaboration and drives joint business opportunities through cobranded events sponsorships and networking experiences.
Marketing Operations & Program Management Oversee marketing operations ensuring seamless integration of technology processes and automation to support demand generation and event . Lead program management for marketing initiatives ensuring alignment with business objectives efficiency and scalability.
Operational Excellence & Logistics Management Oversee the endtoend logistics and operations of all events ensuring seamless vendor management budget allocation and postevent reporting.
Lead Generation & Pipeline Acceleration Ensure that events and marketing initiatives drive measurable MQLs SQLs and closedwon revenue by tracking analyzing and optimizing performance metrics within events. Implement strategies that enhance lead quality and accelerate deal velocity.
CrossFunctional Leadership Collaborate with Demand Generation Product Marketing Sales and Customer Success to create impactful programs that engage prospects customers and industry influencers while reinforcing Recurlys messaging.
Sponsorship & Partnerships Identify negotiate and manage highvalue sponsorships and event partnerships to maximize brand exposure and ROI. Evaluate strategic sponsorship opportunities that align with Recurlys business goals.
Content & Experience Design Partner with Content Design and Brand teams to create compelling event narratives speaker lineups and immersive experiences that captivate attendees and drive engagement.
Sales Kickoff Club Enablement & FollowUp Lead internal company events including Sales Kickoff incentive programs (e.g. Presidents Club) and enablement sessions ensuring alignment with revenue and performance objectives.
Budget Management & Financial Oversight Develop and manage the marketing and events budget ensuring cost efficiency ROI optimization and proper resource allocation across all programs.
Event Technology & Innovation Stay ahead of emerging event technologies and trends integrating innovative formats digital experiences and automation tools to enhance Recurlys marketing operations and event strategy.
What You Bring
10 years of experience in event marketing demand generation marketing operations or corporate events preferably in B2B SaaS or FinTech.
Proven track record of driving measurable pipeline growth and brand impact through events and marketing operations.
Experience leading global event strategy marketing operations and program management with a focus on revenue outcomes.
Strong understanding of lead capture sales alignment and postevent analytics.
Expertise in budget management vendor negotiations and sponsorship deals.
Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms (Marketo HubSpot Salesforce etc..
Exceptional project management leadership and communication skills.
Passion for creating worldclass event experiences and optimizing marketing operations that differentiate a brand and drive business impact.
