Ohel is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to work with older Adults diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness who live in the Brooklyn Community. The Occupational Therapist will collaborate with Living in Place program staff to complete needs assessments most specifically those focused on the participants activities of daily living/instrumental activities of daily living (IADL/ADL). This role also assists with determining needed fall prevention aids and identification of specific referrals necessary to maintain safety at home. The ideal candidate is a selfstarter who can work independently as well as within a team and has with excellent follow up skills. Appropriate candidate must have a NYS license in Occupational Therapy. This part time up to 5 hours per week position has required home visits in Brooklyn.
