Overnight Caregiver Bennington

Compassionate individuals needed to assist seniors overnight in their homes with a variety of tasks from companionship to personal care in the Bennington/Manchester/Dorset Area. Overnight shifts are typically 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility is to be sure elderly client is safe in their home overnight.
• Provide personal hygiene assistance (if needed) for elderly clientsor those recovering from surgeries injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs.
• Remindclients to take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the house.
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in caseof emergency

Qualifications

• This role will be per diem but parttime and fulltime hours may be available.
• Enjoy working in a oneonone setting eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare hospitality or inhome care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
• Supportive and compassionate
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver
• Take pride in providing high quality care
