MEDACT is Johnson Countys 911 EMS and ambulance service provider serving the entire county and its cities towns and unincorporated areas. We have cohesive partnerships with fire departments throughout the county and within the EMS system. Currently accepting applications until May 6th 2025 to be considered for our next Clinician Academy start date of July 7 2025. Applicants must be KS licensed by July 3rd 2025 at noon. If not licensed prior to July 3rd candidates must provide proof of application to the Kansas Board of EMS along with a valid out of state license and/or National Registry certification.
We are currently seeking dedicated and highly skilled EMTs to join our team on a fulltime basis. As an EMT at Johnson County MEDACT you will play a critical role in delivering lifesaving care to our community members during their most challenging moments. You will be responsible for responding to emergency calls providing medical treatment and ensuring the safe transportation of patients to medical facilities.

Compensation:
The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.21$26.89 which calculates to an annual salary in the range of $60603$89490 commensurate with experience. There is builtin overtime inherent to our 24hour shift schedule and on average our fulltime employees work 56 hours per week. Our financial compensation package progresses through a 16step pay plan so that operational employees can clearly predict how their salaries will advance over time.
