We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Requirements
Specialty: RN Urgent Care
Licensure: Valid current unrestricted nursing license from the state of Arizona or another compact licensing state.
Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS
Experience: More than 1 year with experience working in Urgent Care or ED setting
Schedule: 36 hours per week including holidays and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Plans implements evaluates and delivers patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care including patient transfer discharge referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age culture condition and circumstances.
- Maintains clinical skills and competency through orientation annual and ongoing education and clinical practice.
- Follows Tribal Health and client specific policy and procedures.
- Assess and triage patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient care accurately and completely
- All other duties assigned and specified by clinical assignment and site.
