Responsibilities
- Leads companywide adoption of established PCL integrated technologies
- Leads companywide process improvement activities
- Drives supports and tracks technology tools adoption metrics at PCL
- Develops and leads strategic planning for the Integrated Construction Technology Dept.
- Leads corporate initiatives cross collaboration with other business practice areas
- Manages and maintains technology R&D efforts for operational construction technologies
- Liaise with District Management (Operations Managers and Construction Managers) to support strategy and technology implementation needs and efforts in PCLs operating districts.
- Communicates best practices across projects and districts and/or sectors and facilitates sharing of best practices.
- Builds and manages relationships with technology vendors and engages in industry groups as a spokesperson for PCL
- Tracks billings and recovers department time associated with project and district direct project work and pursuits.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a buildings industry related discipline (e.g. architecture engineering and construction (AEC) civil architectural)
- 15 years of constructionrelated industry experience including 6 years of Virtual Design and Construction related experience in a supervisory role.
- Expert understanding of and proven experience implementing construction technology
- Ability to develop organizational model management procedures
- Expert ability to oversee and ensure quality of building information models from design and trade partners
- Advanced understanding and training in 3D modeling software
- Direct and indirect reports may include a combination of students/interns ICT coordinators specialists and managers
- Identifies staffing needs and recruits new team members
- Ability to recognize overall gaps and propose and influence solutions
- Up to 50 travel

The salary range for this position is between $125000 and $155000per annum based on experience and qualifications.
