Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
HATS is a specialty geriatrics clinic that sees patients over the age of 65 for memory loss mood changes and mobility issues.
- Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.
- Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire
- Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies
- Room patients and manage an efficient flow of providers caseload
- Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system
- Serve both front and back offices capacities check in/out vitals scheduling follow ups
- Manage inbasket and phones
- Support completing the review of systems and cognitive testing of patients
- Maintain positive relationships with patients providers and staff
