Search Assistance features help reduce Amazon customers effort in expressing and refining their shopping intent as well as help Amazon customers discover new Amazon capabilities and shopping ideas. As a Principal TPM you will work with a group of Applied Scientists and Software Development Engineers to work on Search Assistance customers facing features such as Search Autocomplete Related Searches and Trending Searches.
Key job responsibilities You are responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad crossorganizational crossbusiness or significant technology impact. You will focus on large science and engineering efforts and will be trusted to operate with complete independence and are often assigned technical areas with ambiguity. You will work with Science and Engineering partners to own the technology roadmap for Search Assistance features. You will adapt the technical approaches to meet the needs of Amazon customers and assess risk drive clarify and create the correct sense of urgency for delivery. You will also amplify your impact by educating the science and engineering teams on program management best practices and help managers guide the career growth of our team members.
