The Texas Materials & Process department centers on development and production support of assembly methods materials and processes for current and next generation microwave products with a very heavy emphasis on cuttingedge automation and materials. You will work closely with product engineers quality engineers reliability engineers tooling engineers industrial engineers and operations leaders on product manufacturing. Team responsibilities include developing and implementing materials and processes process improvements and production support using established statistical process control techniques experimental designs material analysis mechanical design analysis and root cause analysis. Evaluation of materials equipment and processes (including qualification acceptance testing and specification development) will be required including interfacing with key internal and external suppliers to resolve technical issues.
What You Will Do:
Supporting current lowvolume highmix production with onsite responsiveness to factory equipment process materials and product problems. Factory production support includes developing and implementing wellcontrolled processes using datadriven methods such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) and writing shop process documentation.
Ensuring processes developed and executed meet product quality requirements
Process improvement projects to improve factory productivity through leveraging new technologies investigating and qualifying new materials and more
Perform maintenance on electronic and mechanical coating equipment.
Understand system features and capabilities; to enable you to promptly assess and diagnose problems and develop solutions as required.
Effective crossfunctional communication of technical information
Qualifications You Must Have:
HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Current U.S. DOD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance within one year of employment
U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience performing root cause analysis and correcting defects.
Knowledge of material test and failure analysis disciplines.
Process development and qualification experience
Statistical Process Control (SPC) statistical data analysis experience Design of Experiments (DOE) techniques
Technical writing experience for operator instructions process and/or material qualification reports equipment vendor statement of works etc.
Previous understanding and knowledge of vacuum systems.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment for 6 hours a day
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Experience working with production support in a factory environment.
Able to work with a multidisciplined engineering team in resolving technical issues and investigation thereof.
An understanding of and ability to use modern test and measurement equipment
Selfmotivated proactive ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Power Point)

The salary range for this role is 40000 USD 82000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
