Job Description
Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Full time at Northwest Transitions Inpatient Rehabilitation :2025 W Orange Grove Road
As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at Northwest Medical Oro Valley youll play a vital role in doing what you do best providing quality care to our patients. Our Rehab staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance 401K flexible scheduling 100 licensure/certification reimbursement Tuition Reimbursement and up to 10K for student loan payments for our full time employees. Our 30 bed rehabilitation unit is in front of Northwest Medical Center. It is a new stand alone rehab facility that is a unit of Oro Valley hospital. We have an interdisciplinary team approach that is supportive and patient focused.
Requirements:
- Required: Associates Degree from an accredited program for occupational therapy assistants.
- Preferred: One 1 year of related experience.
- Required: Current Az certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification.
- For Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card.
About the Job:
- Administers specified evaluations conducts group programs and assists in implementing specific treatment programs under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational Therapist
- Appropriate prioritization and planning skills while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment;
- Engaging and effective communication and service skills;
- Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Selfinitiative to assist with whatever is needed.
