ManpowerGroup Greece on behalf ofour client an IT Infrastructure integrator is seeking a Senior System Engineer
Our client is a wellestablished company with over 30 years of experience specializing in IT infrastructure and cloud solutions delivering highquality products and services in the Greek and international market. Ensuring business continuity and secure communications for their clients.
Location: Athens City Center walking distance from Metro Station
Working Model: Hybrid
You will be reporting to: Cloud & Systems Manager
What you will do:
As a Senior System Engineer you will play a key role in designing implementing and supporting cuttingedge solutions across systems networking and cloud infrastructure. Your mission will be to ensure seamless secure and scalable IT environments for clients while contributing to the continuous evolution of the companys service offerings.
More specifically you will:
Participate in the design and implementation of virtualization security and monitoring solutions
Provide technical support to clients ensuring timely resolution of issues
Manage and maintain overall cloud infrastructure (on premise and in data centers)
Contribute to R&D projects focused on developing innovative IT solutions
Ensure all services adhere to ISO27001 security standards
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet business needs and performance goals
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructurerelated issues as part of a support rotation
Requirements
- BSc/ MSc in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 years of experience with servers storage system administration virtualization and security technologies
- Strong skills in Linux (Centos Rocky Linux) and Windows Servers
- Strong skills in VMware HyperV
- Strong skills in Veeam backup
- The ability to think logically and analytically to solve complex problems
- Strong sense of responsibility ethics and professionalism
- Desire to grow and develop in your role
- Very good knowledge of English both written and verbal
- Teamwork and collaboration mindset
Nice to Have:
- Certifications in Virtualization Linux Storage or Firewalling
