As a Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions using Amazons cloud technologies. The ideal candidate excels at working with AWS ETL tools and is comfortable accessing and manipulating big data from multiple sources. You should passionately partner with business teams to identify strategic opportunities and deliver results. Were looking for someone with a strong drive to answer why questions excellent analytical abilities and strong technical skills. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential. Key job responsibilities
Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust scalable operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture.
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of next generation data solutions from the ground up.
Manage AWS resources including S3 Athena Batch lambda etc.
Optimize automated processes for performance and fault tolerance.
Optimize support for adhoc analysis across various data sources
Collaborate with BI Engineers Software Engineers and crossfunctionally to deliver high quality data architecture and pipelines.
Make large and/or complex data more accessible understandable and usable by applications and teams.

As a Data Engineer you will provide technical leadership lead data engineering initiatives and build endtoend analytical solutions that are highly available scalable stable secure and costeffective. You strive for simplicity demonstrate creativity and sound judgement. You deliver data solutions that are customer focused easy to consume and create business impact. You have a strategic and long term view on architecting advanced data eco systems. You are experienced in building efficient and scalable data services and have the ability to integrate data systems with AWS tools and services to support a variety of customer use cases/applications.
3 years of data engineering experience
Experience with data modeling warehousing and building ETL pipelines
Experience with SQL
Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift S3 AWS Glue EMR Kinesis FireHose Lambda and IAM roles and permissions
Experience with nonrelational databases / data stores (object storage document or keyvalue stores graph databases columnfamily databases)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
