Summary
Perform deliveries and inhome installations of furniture and accessories. Must drive a company box truck and pull prep and assemble highend furniture. Help in the warehouse when needed. This is a full time position with a MF workweek.CDL Not required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive company vehicles to make inhome deliveries
- Prep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customers home
- Receive and process furniture and rack in the correct warehouse location
- Operate forklift picker dolly pallet jack and reach using all safety equipment
- Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
- Learn and use company software to update all transfers receiving and inventory moves
- Participate in keeping the warehouse and company vehicles clean
- Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintaining a clean driving record
- Experience driving a box truck (minimum 6 months)
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record to qualify to be insured
- Whiteglove customer service mindset and communication proficiency
- Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment plus scanning and computer equipment
- 1year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferred
- High School education or equivalent preferred
- Reliability punctuality and professional appearance is a must
