Reliability Trainer/Instructor


Summary: Reliability Testing Services (RTSI) is a growing reliability predictive maintenance company seeking a Reliability Trainer/Instructor based remotely. Ideal candidate will have at least 1015 years experience in reliability & instructing PdM. This is a heavy travel position.

Description:The Reliability Trainer/Instructor will work with the ATS Reliability Family of Companies (FOC) to provide reliability & PdM technology training and services for our employees & clients. The position will report to the RTSI General Manager.


Responsibilities:

The Reliability Trainer/Instructor will be responsible for delivering all facets of our reliability & PdM technology training and services to our employees & clients. Some of the responsibilities are as follows:

Train new employees in PdM technologies (e.g. vibration analysis infrared thermography ultrasonic testing field balancing electric motor testing laser alignments & lube oil analysis).
Develop continuing education courses for current employees.
Travel to client sites to provide reliability & PdM training for clients.
Develop new reliability & PdM training modules to offer employees & clients.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge and certifications.
Deliver training material using an instructorled methodology
Prepare and setup classroom: seating charts jobaids trainee manuals handouts AV equipment Effectively interact with training class participants and respond to participant questions
Accurately take attendance efficiently distribute and collect evaluation forms and administer general course exams and certification exams
Communicate training and logistical needs and issues with appropriate administrative staff
Make personal travel arrangements for all training engagements (e.g. airfare lodging rental car etc.
Present program content using jobspecific analogies examples and a variety of presentation techniques
Consistently achieve high ratings as a trainer
Professionally represent ATS Reliability FOC
Effectively collaborate with all members of the ATS Reliability FOC
Proactively maintain and develop technical industry knowledge related to equipment applications competitors etc.
Proactively identify personal training opportunities for professional development related to instructor/technical role
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of PdM technologies (e.g. vibration analysis ultrasonics infrared thermography etc.
Strong working knowledge of rotating machinery
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong instructor skills
Strong organizational skills
Computer skills Excel Word documents using multimedia materials File & Directory management
Ability to multitask and work in a growing environment
Travel required 50 estimated)

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Work Conditions:

Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
Work from heights on scaffolding ladders elevated platforms manbaskets etc.
Work in confined spaces which will require crawling stooping climbing etc.
Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
Work with radiation and hazardous materials such as cleaners penetrants film developing chemicals etc.
Work shifts up to 12 hours/day and 7 days/week and travel for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 100 pounds.
