Job Description
Responsibilities
The primary purpose of the Carpenter I position is to perform building related construction maintenance and repair to assure safe and functional facilities. These duties also include related equipment installation furniture installation and repair. Oversees work of other mechanics and/or trades helpers.
Qualifications
Technical school diploma or equivalent knowledge plus a minimum of five 5 years of progressively more responsibility and experience as a carpenter at least three 3 years of which shall have involved taking a lead in installation repair and maintenance of all applicable components/systems. Thorough knowledge of local state and national codes.
