Position at Vassar Brothers Medical Center

Summary Inspects maintains repairs or replaces hospital equipment systems and property as necessary to maintain a safe secure comfortable aesthetically pleasing environment for patients visitors Medical Staff and employees. Must be familiar with fire and disaster plans. Performs security duties and other duties assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Requires a minimum of three years in building maintenance with emphasis in one of the primary trades.

License: N/A

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL FACTORS

Physical: Requires light physical effort on a regular basis as in frequent standing walking bending stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of light items (i.e. up to 20 lbs..

Mental: Some irregularity in scheduled hours because of compensated overtime requirements including weekend rotation.

ENVIRONMENTAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Occasional exposure to minor injury or other occupational hazards requiring precaution.

$23.18 per hour

Schedule: Tues Sat 11pm to 7:30am Monfri 11pm to 7:30am
