Job Description

WHAT YOULL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Production Worker will be responsible for packaging and stocking boxes onto a pallet while maintaining a clean work area. The ideal candidate will be positive willing to work hard and react quickly under pressure.
Packaging and stocking salad boxes onto a pallet in an organized mannerPerform quality checks on product to ensure proper and accurate labeling
Replace the rejection bin as necessary
Maintain the work area clean and free of debris to ensure a safe working environment
Responsible for maintaining open communication with coworkers to inform them of any unusual or potentially dangerous findings within or around the department
Assist in other areas of the facility as business needs require
Responsible for assisting the equipment operators as needs arise
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School/GED or one to two years experience in related field or combination of both education and experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIERED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast paced high pressure environment
- Ability to work as a team and follow instructions
- Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform the job
- Participate in company orientation and training
- Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times weekends and required overtime when needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working on a production line in a food/beverage company
- 1 year of experience in a production environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Environmental exposure to wet and humid conditions
- Material exposure moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to fumes airborne particles toxic or caustic chemicals
- Must be able to lift/pushpull/carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Exposure to extreme cold temperatures 34 degrees or below)
HOURS &WORKDAYS:
- 3rd shift 10:00PM6:30AM) when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory.
