Job Description
The Greenbrier Clinic Ambulatory Surgery Center is a AAAHC accredited Medicare approved facility and is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN). Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of surgical services including: Preop PACU of a one a room AAAHC accredited surgical suite specializing in endoscopy procedures. Providing leadership for the ASC focusing on clinical quality and safe outcomes labor efficiencies and supply chain management including the ordering of supplies and pharmaceuticals.
Must have OR experience that demonstrates clinical and administrative skills.
Responsibilities also include maintaining accreditation standards with AAAHC and other processes of quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for managing directing and supervising clinical areas of the ASC
Monitor and maintain quality control for all services (credentialing staffing patient outcomes and materials management)
Develop and execute policies and procedures that govern nursing services while upholding ASC standard
Manage personnel through superior talent acquisition onboarding and retention characterized by high proficiency and excellent morale
Advocate both internally and externally for the nursing staff
Serve as a representative for the ASC with patients physicians and business representatives
Encourage and support research and improvement studies that can make meaningful contributions to the quality and efficiency of surgical services.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
WV state Licensure as Registered Nurse
BLS/ALCS certification
Operating room experience including peri operative and supervisory responsibilities preferably in a surgery center.
Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize various requests and responsibilities
Proactive and positive attitude always willing to collaborate with team members
