Our vast collection includes over 175 aircraft and spacecraft tens of thousands of artifacts dozens of exhibits and experiences a worldclass library and a dedicated aviation restoration facility. This fulltime position is ideal for someone with a strong background in health and safety emergency management customer service and administrative logistics.
Your role will be essential in managing crucial health safety and emergency preparedness duties for our campus. Youll be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols overseeing emergency response plans managing mass notification systems conducting trainings and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. If you are detailoriented proactive and have excellent organizational skills we want to hear from you. The Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator supports the mission of The Museum of Flight by working with departments and stakeholders across the organization to create and maintain a safe environment for guests staff and the community. This position helps to create implement and maintain comprehensive safety policies risk assessments security operations and helps ensure regulatory compliances. The Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator leads environmental health and safety initiatives trainings emergency preparedness and leads related activities.

The Museum of Flight offers fulltime employees a generous and comprehensive benefits package which includes medical dental vision flexible spending accounts a 403(b) retirement plan with a 5 match after 1 year of service Employee Assistance Program as well as company paid life insurance Accidental Death and Dismemberment and longterm disability.
Our paid timeoff plans include 2 weeks of accrued sick leave and 2 weeks of vacation 80 hours each) per year 10 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays.
The hourly range for this position is $22.00to$30.00depending on experience.
Should you receive an offer please expect that it can fall anywhere within this range.
