What will you do
Design and build modern data platformsonpremise or in the cloud (AWS Azure GCP)to support diverse analytics reporting and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain endtoend data pipelines (batch and realtime) leveraging tools like Spark Kafka and modern CI/CD practices.
Support the implementation and customization of data management solutions (e.g. Collibra Snowflake Informatica Dataiku).
Define data quality rules trace data lineage and enforce data governance policies to ensure reliable and compliant datasets.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (IT business compliance) to align data initiatives with broader organizational strategies and regulations.
Provide subject matter expertise around data security privacy (GDPR) and regulatory standards (BCBS 239 KYC).
Contribute to shaping data strategiesidentify roadblocks prioritize improvements and guide clients toward scalable futureproof solutions.
Your skills & qualifications:
A genuine enthusiasm for data and its potential to transform businesses.
Experience or strong interest in data engineering data architecture data governance or data analytics.
MidLevel 57 years experience) Proven track record in building data pipelines designing data models or implementing data governance frameworks. Handson experience with one or more data tools (e.g. Spark Hadoop Kafka Collibra Snowflake).
Senior/Lead 7 years experience) Ability to lead and mentor project teams shape technical strategies and manage stakeholder relationships. Demonstrated expertise in largescale data platform implementations and/or management consulting.
Solid understanding of (or willingness to learn) financial services regulations and challenges.
A cando attitudecomfortable working with ambiguous requirements and turning them into tangible results.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Dutch or French is highly valued.
Please note that relocation support to Belgium is not available this role cannot accommodate fully remote work and we cannot support working visa procedures.
