Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Reading Oxfordshire
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
An opportunity has arisen for an empathetic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to be welcomed into our clients NHS inpatient service based in Reading Oxfordshire. The role is available to start ASAP for an initial period of 6 months.
What will your responsibilities be
The appointed Occupational Therapist will work autonomously across intermediate care supporting discharges from the acute and the inpatient rehabilitation unit and respond to urgent care response calls. Applying therapists should have previous experience within intermediate care for this role.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
- Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
- Previous NHS experience within an intermediate care setting
- The ability to build good rapport with patients
- Excellent interpersonal skills
