Job Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical
Department/Division: Pediatrics/Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition
The Department of Pediatrics Division of Gastroenterology Hepatology and Nutrition at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a fulltime faculty member specializing in Motility. Candidates will be at the assistant/associate professor level of the clinical educator track. Individuals must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology and Nutrition and have demonstrated expertise in clinical care teaching and researchespecially in the area of gastrointestinal motility disorders. Duties to include providing direct patient care to inpatients at the 250bed Holtz Childrens Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and outpatients at clinic (including satellite) sites. Inpatient consult coverage and weekend oncall service also included. Additional desirable skills include expertise in quality improvement research and the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Creole.
