General Description
The Construction Project Management Supervisor with the Seaport Facilities Maintenance Division is responsible for performing advanced professional and administrative work in managing maintenance projects for the Port Everglades Department.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Requires a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil/environmental engineering or closely related field.
Requires six 6 years of professional engineering work including four 4 years of experience in project management or closely related experience.
Special Certifications and Licenses
Registration as a professional registered civil/environmental engineer or closely related.
Ability to secure and maintain a valid Florida Drivers License at the time of appointment and for the duration of employment.
Ability to secure and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC) within 60 days of employment and for the duration of employment (if required).
Ability to secure and maintain a valid Seaport Business Purpose Credential for the duration of employment.
Preferences
M.S. Degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering Construction Management or a closely related field
M.S. Degree in Business Administration Public Administration or a closely related field
LEED certification
Licensed General or Building Contractor in the State of Florida
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
ENV SP Envision Sustainability Professional
Working knowledge of AutoCAD
1 years of experience using Building Information Modeling (BIM)
1 years of experience using water distribution and/or storm sewer modeling system software
Five 5 years of experience in governmental accounting and procurement processes: and/or publicsector construction project management
Knowledge of ADA accessibility standards and building code
Knowledge of SFWM and/or FDEP permitting and regulatory processCompetencies
