Job Description
STV located in Charlotte and Morrisville NC is looking for a Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer to join our team! This seniorlevel position performs a variety of tasks which are intended to provide experience and interaction with other staff methods practices programs and the culture of the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepares or assists in the preparation of water and wastewater or general civil engineering documents details schedules or reports as assigned.
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in water and wastewater pipelines and DOT wet utility relocation plans.
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in firms drafting standards CADD software.
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in the use of firms system of filing and retrieving drawings and other project information; assisting in the production of drawings graphs charts exhibits and other project documents.
- Developing knowledge and proficiency in the types of resources available (reference materials government agencies utility companies inhouse records etc..
- Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of CADD equipment and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Technical School preferred and High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with CADD programs such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer Civil 3D AutoCAD and thirdparty software packages.
- 15 years preferred; 10 Years required.
Compensation Range:
