Job Description

**INTERVIEWS IN PROGRESS**
STARTING JULY/AUGUST 2025: Slow circumnavigation over 5 years Mission Explore the World

RARE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for an experienced Captain and Mate/Chef couple team who are longing for longterm worldwide adventures on this perfect sized yacht for two crew to run.

These highly adventurous owners have been planning this voyage for many years. They want to invest in a crew team whose skillsets and characters align with their own motivation and expectations.

Plans are for extensive cruising over several years exploring both high latitudes and warmer climes. The first two years of cruising aim to incorporate Scotland Norway and the Mediterranean followed by Caribbean and Pacific adventures.

The owners would plan to be aboard 4050 of the year for 24 weeks at any one time.Factored in to a precise schedule will be sufficient downtime for repairs maintenance and crew time off.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL

Captain Yachtmaster Ocean minimum to satisfy Cat 1 regulations

Mate/Chef Yachtmaster Offshore minimum to satisfy Cat 1 regulations

Solid/proven engineering experience/qualifications

Level 2 Hygiene (Chef)

Chef role requires previous charter experience chalet host or restaurant experience.

STCW ENG1 are general certifications for all crew on board.
