Role Description:
Intern will support onsite engineering and maintenance teams for Utilities/Facility specifically targeting reliability/equipment engineering while cross functionally partnering across the site to support production.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Students scope of work may include the following:
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment failures.
- Partner with engineering team to learn how to complete root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate across multiple functional units including operations quality process engineering and maintenance to reduce downtime and ensure teams have the technical support required.
- Participate in any CI projects potentially partnering with suppliers to drive improvements and sustainability.
Internship Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in College/University and pursuing a degree in Engineering (Chemical Mechanical Electrical Biosystem preferred).
- Candidate interested in pursuing a career in the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industry preferred.
- Enrolled in a degree program during the Spring term preceding internship.
- Completion of at least one year of undergraduate studies and a 3.0 GPA or higher.
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be physically residing in the U.S for the entirety of the internship.
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Associatelevel degree: $16.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing an Undergraduatelevel degree: $20.00 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursing a Graduatelevel degree: $32.50 per hour
If the selected candidate is a student pursuing a Doctoratelevel degree: $36.00 per hour
The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position if a selected candidate were to be in California Connecticut District of Columbia Illinois (Chicago area) Massachusetts New Jersey New York Washington (Seattle area):
Student pursuing an Associatelevel degree: $17.00 per hour
Student pursuing an Undergraduatelevel degree: $22.00 per hour
Student pursing a Graduatelevel degree: $36.40 per hour
Student pursuing a Doctoratelevel degree: $40.30 per hour
