Are you looking for a reliable position in a dynamic manufacturing environment with weekly pay Then look no further! Partners Personnel has immediate openings for Material Handlers in a thriving facility in Wright City MO.
Job Title: Material Handler
Pay Rate: Starting pay $19.50 per hour with shift differential pay
Schedule: Monday Friday
1st shift 6am 4:30pm
2nd shift 4pm 2:30am
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
Load unload and move materials within or near the plant yard or worksite.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to determine materials or containers to be moved.
Open containers using steel cutters crowbar claw hammer or other hand tools.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets trays racks and shelves by hand.
Convey materials to or from storage or work sites to designated areas using hand trucks electric wheelbarrows or other devices.
Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination using hanrated crane or hoist.
Clean work areas machines and equipment using brooms rags and cleaning compounds.
Assist machine operators and make simple adjustments or repairs such as realigning belts or replacing rollers.
Create crates to contain products such as machines or vehicles using hand tools and precut lumber.
Other job duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be willing and able to work any shift schedule including nights and weekends. Ability to work in any weather conditions.
Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods including standing walking climbing bending pushing pulling and twisting.
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment and sit for extended periods.
Must be able to perform all job functions safely and with a good attitude.
Steel toed shoes required.
