Summary
Creates product development strategies business plans product lifecycle management product documentation and market forecasts for assigned product families. Maintains current status of customer/market requirements for existing and future products. Identifies evaluates and recommends new product and market opportunities consistent with productline objectives and capabilities.Job Description
Job Responsibilities and Skills
- Develops and communicate strategy plans and market forecasts effectively to peers and senior management.
- Participates in the development of Industrial Xray tube departments strategic and annual operational plans.
- Interfaces well with internal and external customers management and peers
- Travels to trade shows customers and enduse sites to glean new product opportunities and determine market direction and dynamics
- Is selfdirected normally receiving little or no instruction on day to day work
- Proficient in utilizing business software such as: Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired
Education and Experience
- B.S. degree in engineering physics or equivalent technical degree
- 6 years experience designing manufacturing using or selling industrial Xray tubes preferably within the NDI XRF or Security market verticals
- 3 years Xray tube design and/or manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of Xray tubes design and Xray physics
