POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer the Manager of Physician Recruiting leads strategic recruitment efforts to attract and retain toptier physicians. This role ensures a continuous pipeline of highquality physicians and collaborates with leadership to resolve recruitment challenges and support the organizations strategic growth. They will work directly with physician leaders and the executive team to resolve barriers to physician practice recruitment and expansion.
Manager Responsibilities:
Lead Physician Recruitment & Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive datadriven physician recruitment strategy.
- Lead and support the physician recruitment team
- Source screen and coordinate interviews and site visits for candidates.
- Build and maintain relationships with external sourcing agencies and regional physicians.
- Oversee the physician recruitment interview and onboarding experience.
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory guidelines and Stark law.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Support physician retention initiatives through engagement and relationship management.
- Identify and resolve barriers to physician recruitment practice setup and expansion.
- Evaluate and improve recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting for service lines to support informed decisionmaking.
- Collaborate with Finance Marketing and leadership to expand service lines and strengthen physician engagement.
- Serve as an internal consultant and resource to departments on physician workforce planning.
Communication & Leadership Engagement
- Support the physician recruiters and enhance their relationships between physician candidates hospital administration and physician leadership.
- Provide regular recruitment updates to physician leaders executives and board committees.
- Present recruitment strategies progress reports and market insights to executive leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads and medical staff to understand recruitment needs and align efforts with organizational goals.
- Develop persuasive and datadriven presentations to secure support for recruitment initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with medical groups and healthcare partners to enhance recruitment efforts.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
- Three years related experience in physician relations healthcare recruiting staffing and credentialing
- Previous leadership experience

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills. Documented success in achieving and surpassing predetermined recruitment goals. Ability to function under demanding situations and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
