Job Description
Essential Job Functions:
- Transporting studentathletes coaches and staff to and from campus to practices and/or competitions; schedule must be flexible to include availability to work on weekday afternoons and evenings and weekends as needed.
- Check fluid levels on lot and on the road; top off as needed.
- Fuel coaches when out on the road.
- Read maps follow written and verbal geographic directions to get passengers to destinations safely.
- Maintains bus cleanliness after each trip by ensure all passengers remove their trash.
- Report any bus malfunctions or needed repairs
- Report accidents or any other traffic incidents and situation by text or phoning
- Comply with traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous manner
- All other related duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma/GED or certification that is comparable to one of the two
- Commercial Drivers License (with P endorsement) required.
- Three years of experience driving buses and one year of over the road with coaches of a similar nature preferably at the college level.
- Successful history and record of safe and responsible driving.
- Up to date DOT Medical Card to be in compliance.
- Must be at least 25 years of age.

Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day. Some lifting (up to 25 pounds occasionally) bending and carrying. Specific vision abilities include the ability to use close vision. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear and to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
