Position Overview:
Note: Adjunct positions at UCO are parttime teaching positions. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the current academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts. Adjunct Faculty provides a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. Adjunct faculty reports to a dean or chair and performs instructionrelated duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission policies and procedures of the college. The relationship of the adjunct faculty member to the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning.
Department Specific Essential Job Functions:
University of Central Oklahoma Dept. of Information Systems & Operations Management invites applications for adjunct positions to teach information systems courses operations management courses or supply chain management courses.
A masters degree in Information Systems Operations or Supply Chain related field. MBA degrees are considered with undergraduate degrees or work experience in information systems operations management or supply chain management.
Experience in the one of the above industries related to the teaching area is required. This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in the current academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of adjuncts.
Both day evening and online courses are offered by the department.
Experience Required:
Possesses at least a masters degree in the field specified in the position announcement (exceptions require Academic Affairs approval). Possesses excellent communication problemsolving and organizational skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Masters degree in information systems operations management or supply chain management preferred. MBA with experience in information systems operations management or supply chain management is also appropriate.
No engineering degrees will be considered for these business classes.
