You will work with cuttingedge technology mixed in with some oldschool technology. All training and expenses are paid for whether inshop training or at an offsite GM facility.
Due to our business growth we are seeking an experienced Chevy Medium Duty Technician with PA State Inspection and Emissions Licenses in our Service Department in our Palmyra PA location. Customer service is our primary focus as we need the ideal candidate to deliver excellent customer service.
Position Overview
The Lead Chevy Medium Duty Service Technician is responsible for diagnostics vehicle repair and maintenance work in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Technician should hold Class 1 and 7 state inspection licenses. Technician will also work on Class 1 vehicles during the work week.

- If youre a GM tech GM additionally pays for training up to $6000 a year (depends on your training level) Klick Lewis will match 100. New techs can earn the same.

- Experience withand 6500 series
- Strong diagnostic skills required
- Duramax experience preferred Diesel experience required
- Work with Service Advisor and perform work described on Repair Order as needed
- Diagnosis of any concern or malfunction and repair in accordance with factory standards
- Perform MPVIs on customer vehicles from a safety maintenance and reliability standpoint
- Work with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
- Advise the Service Advisor of additional service work that is necessary
- Repair order documentation is aligned with repairs and the three Cs
- Perform all necessary factory training whether inhouse or at a training facility
- Perform other assigned duties
- 4 years of Service Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent ASE Certification a plus
- A and B level qualifications including Diagnostic Electrical and Engine Repair
- PA emissions and inspection license required
- Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent handeye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive friendly attitude along with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
