We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel for a leading global pharmaceutical company in Switzerland. The Senior Legal Counsel will contribute to the companys legal strategy in Europe drafting reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements as well as providing solutions to legal and regulatory issues. Proficiency in English and German is essential for this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Translate and coordinate legal priorities and strategies with affiliates across Europe; drive regionally consistent and effective processes
- Draft review and negotiate contracts and agreements with a particular focus on DACH Region
- Develop and provide solutions to complex legal and regulatory issues; monitor and mitigate liability and compliance exposures
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with international teams by fostering effective collaboration
- Stay informed about relevant industry developments and regulations and assist with other matters as needed
- Lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry or in an international law firm possessing subject matter expertise within the medical devices industry.
- Bar admission especially in the DACH region is a plus.
- Fluent in German and English both written and verbal; proficiency in any additional language is a plus
- Highly organized and efficient with a proven ability to drive projects and deliver results within set timelines
- Excellent drafting skills communication skills and attention to detail
