Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Database Programmer with 5 to 8 years of expertise to join our dynamic team in Thane. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in database development and be proficient in related technologies. You will be responsible for designing developing and optimizing database solutions while ensuring high performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain database solutions using MS SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Write and optimize Stored Procedures Triggers and Functions.
- Perform Performance Tuning to ensure efficient database operations.
- Implement and maintain data integrity and security measures.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Manage and track tasks effectively using JIRA.
- Work closely with application developers to design efficient database structures.
- Troubleshoot databaserelated issues and provide solutions.
- Optimize queries and indexing strategies for performance enhancement.
- Ensure database scalability and maintainability to support business growth.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in MS SQL and PostgreSQL development.
- Proficiency in writing Stored Procedures Triggers and Functions.
- Strong expertise in Performance Tuning and query optimization.
- Experience with Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot database issues.
- Experience working with JIRA in an Agile environment.
- Excellent understanding of database normalization and indexing techniques.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with database replication and clustering techniques.
- Familiarity with cloudbased database solutions.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data migration strategies.
- Understanding of NoSQL databases and when to use them.
