What We Are Looking For:

Woodland Heights Medical Center Radiology Department is now hiring a PRN licensed CT TECHNOLOGIST to work in our thriving 149bed acute care hospital. The CT Technologist under direct supervision uses computerized tomography scanners to produce crosssection images of patients internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Which Qualifications Do You NeedIn order to set you up for success you need the basics of

• Graduate of a twoyear approved School of Radiologic Technology program required
• ARRT (R) required
• ARRT (CT) required or willing to obtain within one year from start date
• Texas Radiologic Technologist certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred but not required

Duties Youll Perform as a CT TECHNOLOGIST at WHMC:

• Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions
• Administer contrast material
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
