In this role as an automation engineer you will be working for a client that is in the dairy and food process industry. This position will be responsible for PLC HMI/SCADA programming and commissioning for projects of current and new customers.
This position is a permanent role that is a longterm need for my client. This role requires travel 20.
Job Requirements
- Three 3 or more years of experience as an automation and controls engineer
- Strong proficiency with Allen Bradley ControlLogix and Rockwell products
- Ethernet/IP ControlNet and RIO experience
- Experience with food and fluid process (highly preferred)
- Experience commissioning troubleshooting and refining programs
- B.S. Degree in engineering or other related fields is preferred
