Your Role
Under direct supervision perform routine laboratory operations associated with the manufacture and packaging of cell culture media and reagents for Life Science business unit resulting in customer satisfaction. Partner with R&D Technical Transfer Planning Production Quality Control and Distribution to manufacture and assemble products in final configuration to meet customer needs.

- While performing the duties of this job the employee may work near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or hazardous chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee may frequently sit stand; walk; use hands handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop kneel crouch or crawl and taste or smell.
- The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee may be required to wear an air helmet mask safety shoes apron rubber and Tyvek suits protective gloves safety glasses and/or goggles while performing in this position.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a Life Science discipline with 1 year of reagent and media calculation experience OR High School Diploma/GED AND 5 years of reagent and media calculation work experience
- 2 years experience using laboratory techniques such as sterile and aseptic techniques buffer/media formulation sterile filtration adjusting pH and SDSpage.
Preferred Requirements:
- Capable of following directions outlined in Standard Operating Procedures ability to accurately complete Batch Records while adhering to Quality and Regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the use of basic scientific laboratory equipment such as pipettes scales pH meters filters fume hoods BioSafety Cabinets Laminar Flow Hoods and autoclaves.
- Demonstrated knowledge in Sterile / Aseptic technique required.
- Basic knowledge in western blot cellbased assays and basic immunological/molecular techniques.
- Ability to handle biologically hazardous materials
- Working knowledge of manufacturing ERP systems Oracle or SAP preferred.
- Good computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel software programs.
- Ability to solve simple and complex mathematical equations.
- Ability to multitask and meet manufacturing production schedules with a sense of urgency.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create clear concise written reports and accurate completion of batch records.
- Ability to follow write and edit Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adherence to Quality and Regulatory requirements/programs.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and to thrive in a constantly changing business environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in laboratory safety plans and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable federal state and local regulations.
- Selfdirected and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
