Job Description
Location: Cape Town

RPO Recruitments client are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join their manufacturing team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and handson experience in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing equipment
- Comply with all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
